RAM PROBLEM

I upgrated my labtop Toshiba with Additional 128MB. I updated my WIN 98 – XP, the RAM worked for 5 months and than not recognised any more. I purchased the same type of RAM, it works for sometimes but when I hibernated and restarted the machine it gave error and the RAM is not recognised any more.
