My son’s PC was dying a horrible death with explorer chewing up 100% every time any of us would log in. After various fix attempts I followed the suggestion to run a repair install of XP. Now the PC won’t go much past the logo XP logo screen – it’ll just keep on rebooting, and so on, and so on … same in safe mode.
The odd time I would see a flash of an error box – something related to Insufficient Virtual Memory … using a borrowed System Works 2007 I renamed the pagefile on the C:\ – it has been recreated successfully, but the problem continues. I Even tried a repair again!
HELP ME???
