Well it finally hit my computer. The dreaded random reboot! I changed the power supply, cmos battery, and surge protector. And still the annoyance persisted. Finally I sent a report in to M$. Their verdict was a ram issue, so I downloaded the scan program from them and found a defective dimm. Of course with 3 sticks installed it was a matter of pull and switch till I found the bad one. So far (2 days) no random reboots. Looks like another issue to let the other folks here look into when troubleshooting. Thanks for all the help over the years.
