I have an Excel 2000 spreadsheet with about 3,500 records. It only has two fields; Name and e-mail address. I need to pull a random sampling (10%) of these records. I would like to take this 10% and either put it in new columns or on a seperate worksheet. I tried the Data Analysis tool “Sampling” but as far as I can figure it only works on numeric fields. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!
