Hi Again
I have a W2k server configured with RAS to enable dial in access, when i dial from a win98 machine (probably all machines) the first thing i get is a pop up box that asks me for a username, password and domain name.
If the info provided is not correct, it hangs up…fine
But if i provid the admin username and the password and the Netbios domain name, then i am connected and can ping the server from the 98 machine.
If i go START…RUN \\SERVER or \\SERVER\SHARE, up pops another boxasking for a password, i have tried the admin password, and using no password, but it just refuses to connectme to the share….
Can anyone give me any idea why i cannot connect to the share…..and more improtantly how i can fix it
