    How do I set up the Remote Access Service on my proxy server?

    Is there any disadvantage of enabling the RAS?

      What are you trying to accomplish setting up RAS on proxy? You can administer the proxy from the internet if you need to.

      If you are just setting up a dial-in line, I’d pick a different server if you can. I wouldnt want too much running on the proxy if you can help it.

        The main thing is that I use the proxy for all my clients to serve the www. At the same time the modem is only hooked up on the proxy which enable the proxy to dial out to our telecomm.

        So, you are suggesting to setup up another computer to handle the RAS?
