We have one NT4 SP5 server. It uses DHCP to assign IP addresses to LAN computers, but is of course not a DHCP client itself. We also use Proxy Server 2.0 to give clients internet access through an analog modem.
When a RAS client logs in, the client can see all of the LAN, but cannot access the internet through Proxy Server. All LAN addresses are in the 192.100.100.xxx range.
IP forwarding is enabled by the way (it should really be turned off, I know).
Will RRAS instead of RAS do the trick? Is it a WINS issue? What are we missing? The bottom line is that we need to find a way to give our RAS clients a way to use the internet through Proxy Server.
