NT is unable to share modem connections, also I do not know of any software, but would you really want 20 users connecting through your phone line at any one time. The ideal solution would be for ou to go for an ISDN 30 line, this will allow for future additions in staff.

The Small Business Server version of NT Server does support modem sharing but it does have some other limitations (must be a PDC and cannot participate in trusts, etc.).
I don’t know how many modems it will support but I’ve only used it with 4.

If there will be 20 users connected simultaneously, you’ll either need a modem bank with 20 modems and 20 lines or you will need to look at a VPN product where they can dial into the Internet via an ISP and then into your WAN via a VPN interface. Cisco, Intel (Shiva), 3Com and others offer these products (both dial-up and Internet VPN).

I don’t have any idea how telephone companies work in your area, but here, it is less expensive to get a T-1 line than to pay for 20 regular phone lines so that might be something to check out.

      Hope this helps!

Get yourself a LanModem or other hardware modem-sharing devices…

      Hi,

You might want to look at:
      http://www.avm.de/english/index_e.htm
They probably have what you want.
Check out the FTP server too, there are
some great ISDN/CAPI utilities for free.
