I just bought a new IBM Thinkpad a20m it has a lucent56k internal modem. I cannot connect to my ras server it returns a error message about a datalink problem. My desktop computer can dial in fine. Another problem that I am having is when some people dial in and then hang up the ras server will not even pick up the next call tha comes in it just rings. I am using an hayes 33.6 modem (which I know I need to upgrade!) Anyone have any ideas what it could be. I have reinstalled RAS on both client and server and have the client set to only receive dial out calls.
