Is there a general rule of thumb on deciding how many PCI Express (PCIe) slots vs. PCI slots to have on a PC in the current IT environment? Also since I’ve read that there are different kinds of PCIe slots, any guidance on how many to get per version would be appreciated as well. Thanks!
