The Topic really doesn’t match what I’m tryin to accomplish here but here goes anyway.
My employer is running Unix (AIX to be exact) and we are trying to rcp a file over from one AIX to another AIX box. This file is approx. 2 meg. After about 30 mins. or halfway through an error comes up and says something about ulimit. I have not seen it because our consultant cleared the screen before I could see it. Since this copying files seems to hog up processing power we can’t do this during business hours anymore. This is all for our ERP system (Symix).
Has anyone seen this? Know what it is. I’ve searched high and low and can not find out anything on this. Would there be a better way to script this?
