I have a problem which haven’t been able to resolve for months. I have setup a server running Microsoft SBS 2003 R2 in our company. The server has two network cards. One is connected directly to a ISP modem and second network card is connected to a switch for internal network. I have setup remote desktop web connection and if I go to \\myserver\remote\tsweb.aspx, I get the login page and from there I could remotely get into any client computer, from the office or remotely from home and it is working perfectly. I have noticed that when I use remote desktop connection instead of RDWC, to the server, the speed is much better, so now I want to be able to connect to client computers using RDC from home as well which doesn’t work and it is logical, because RDP will take me to the server through NIC1 and the network is connected to NIC2. If I connect to server with RDC and connect to client computers from there is works fine which is should. So is there any way to do remote desktop connection from home directly to client computers!? If there was a router and I had used one NIC on the server, I could give each computer a different port number and using port forwarding connect directly with RDC by connecting to different ports, but how can I do port forwarding with the server. To me is sounds impossible to have this setup, am I right? If not, appreciate your help..
