RDP to a computer connected to a VPN

What I would like to achieve is this:

I would like to connect one of my laptops to my corporate VPN (Via Cisco VPN) and then use another computer to connect to this machine. The laptop that is connected to the VPN has two network cards, one wired and the other wireless.

In theory, if if one of the laptop’s network ports is used by the VPN adapter, cant I connect to it using the second network port?
