I just installed a 771AS Motherboard with AMD K7 Athlon Processor, VIA KX133 Drivers. On to a system with Windows 95, HD, CD Rom. All is installed at this point. I am trying to install A “CD Writer” CRW 6206A by Acer. (I need procedures on how to get this CDW installed correctly.) Everytime I get the drivers load it wants the standard drivers. It makes my system want to boot from the CD Rom and does not recognize the motherboard or Floppy. Has anyone had this problem and can you give me information step by step on how to get it to work with everything else. I need infor as soon as possible. I have also tried to contact the support for the CD Writer without help.
