Re-installing Windows

Without looking at my Windows disc...

I believe that you can put the Windows installation disc into the drive and double-click the executable file that will start the installation procedure. It'll be at the root of the disc. There aren't too many files to choose from.

I put my XP Pro disc in the drive.

The executable file is named, "Setup.exe" <br>

Is there an option on the initial spalsh screen to press F9 or F12 to choose a boot device?

Are you constantly watching the screen to insure that you didn't miss the (quick) "press any key to boot from CD"?

What is the make and model of the system?
