Re: Microsoft Word 365

By denis ·
I have recently bought Microsoft Office 365 and I mark a lot of assignments in Word format. I just the inserted comment to give feedback to students. I like to use Arial, 12 font in green.
It is time consuming having to go into Styles and modify the settings for each students assignment.
Is there some way I can set up Word so that I do not have to do this for each students assignment? Is there some way I can make my settings default for each students assignment?

Thank you for any help.

Typically the format of the document is not changed by the program

Your default template applies to documents you create, and whatever format settings the author has set when he or she created the coduent are what apply to the document you open.

That being said, assuming that Office 365 has a macro capability similar to other versions of Office, then you could a macro to change the format settings to what you want, and then assign a button on the toolbar for that macro.
