Re setting Password to OU and Sub OU

by adelhier . Updated 22 years, 9 months ago

This is a very simple but for some reason very hard to find an easy way to do this. I run a College lab and ever semester I need to reset the password of all the users in an OU. Now the OU Called ?Drafting classes? has sub OU with even more sub OUT aka

Drafting Classes
class1
class2
class2a
class2b
class3

The class brake out like class2 happens many times as we have the same class but different days. Now I need some type of script that will go thought and rest close to 400 user names in the ?Drafting Classes? OU.

I did find this.

Set objCntr = GetObject

(“ldap://ou=management,dc=fabrikam,dc=com”)

objCntr.Filter = Array(“user”)

For Each objUser In objCntr

objUser.SetPassword “i5A2sj*!”

Next

But when I adapted it to my set (using the right OU and DC) I get a script error.

Any and all help here would be great.
Andy
