The scenario is I have to supply ethernet capacbility to great reach. What I have in mind is using a backbone switch where every new extended switch/hub will be connected to port of bb switch. Anyway, what is the max distane this two switches needs to have? And having the “four repeater rule,” I believe repeaters have to be implemented end-to-end, is it rated as 1 or 2? in reference to the four 4 repeater rule? I believe the next switch is counted 2, right?
