Yesterday, my HD collapsed.
It was no more able to boot, and is now connected by USB to my laptop.
I’ve a new disk in the laptop, new XP.
But I’ve an EFS XP folder on the old disk, and I was unable to open the files therein.
I never made a backup of EFS agent’s certificate and private key. But i can navigate the entire disk by usb.
There is a way to recover the certificate and private key from a disk that is no more bootable? I’ve the user login and password of the user owner of the folder, when the disk was up.
Thanks
Nico
