Read Only FilesLocked
We have both XP and 98 users. On our 2000 server, if an XP user opens a file for write, and a 98 user opens the same file, they never get a message that the file is read only. However, if the 98 user opens it first, other users will be prompted that the file is in use and is read only. This happens with Excel and Word files in various places on our network. Is there any way to fix this?
