There is a utility you can get from http://www.sysinternals.com called NTFSDOS Professional. This will allow you to create a boot diskette that can read and write files from your NTFS partition. This program, however, is not free – it costs about $250, I think. The website also lists a freeware utility called NTFSDOS, but this will not allow you to repair a non-bootable NTFS partition, you need the professioanl version to do this. Hope this helps!

I think you are looking for NTFSDOS which is a freeware program that you can get from

      http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/utilities.shtml#utilities

They also have a more advanced version of this program that is has a 30 day free trial period.

      Just sone extra info.
The free version lets you “read” the NTFS partition. The “Pro” version allows you to “Read and Write”. If you need to replace files, such as ntoskrnl, osloader, etc. you are going to need the Professional version. It is good to have around for emergencies. The web site is correct, it’s systeminternals . Hope this extra info helps. good luck.
