When right-clicking a file on Win Vista Business, it takes up to 10 seconds to have the menu displayed. So I simply click and go for a coffee…
I have the basic items on the menu, such Copy/Cut/paste, Winrar compression/decompression and windows groove.
Any idea of what registry changes I should make to get the responses fastened? I know the registry values have a straight connection to the menus speed, I haven’t played much in Registry, so before doing anything wrong, I thought of asking here.
Laptop specs:
Acer Aspire One (9″)
2GB + 500MB Shared memory for Video
500GB
Intel Atom
Vista Business
(I guess it has nothing to do with the RAM itself, as the little toy is really fast for everything else, i’m even running Adobe Premiere CS3 in real fast performance for HD videos, so I guess memory is not the reason)
I even changed to classic view, but the problem is still there.
Any help with be very much appreciated. Thanks
