Rearding Private LAN

Hi ,

Here am having one concern about making of private netwrok,Totaly am new to the field.
Two NIC are there on my PC.One is connected to LAN, and other i want to make it in static ip series.And i want to have a set of pc’s behind the static ip enabled NIC . using a switch.I want to access PC on my LAN. is it possible?How the routing takes place .Please i need clarification on this.
