how do i delete logical drives in the extended DOS partition when no logical drives are defined?

If the drives were formatted as NTFS, (I see this is posted in the W2K section) fdisk cannot access the drives.

Alternately, if the drive was setup using the drive manufactures utility, a Drive overlay program may be in use. This can also cause problems when running fdisk.

Start by running fdisk /mbr to rebuild the master boot record. Then see if you can at least delete the non-DOS drives and partitions.
