    How do I increase the number of recent documents, it is a registry hack which I have done before, but have lost the details

      MaxRecentDocs in
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

      and then:

      Maximum number of recent documents in Group Policy (run gpedit.msc) in
      User Confguration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components ->
      Windows Explorer
