RECENTLY did a reinstall of xp on an inspiron 2600 (dell) notebook.

I am now having a conflict within microsoft tun miniport adapter and cannot solve the problem. (this device cannot start. code 10)

1. Download the following program and execute it -

2. Restart the PC

3. Remove the device from the device manager and restart the PC.
4. open the device manager and check the status of the device.

Update the driver

In the device Properties dialog box, click the Driver tab, and then click Update Driver to start the Hardware Update Wizard. Follow the instructions to update the driver.

You may be prompted to provide the path of the driver. Windows may have the driver built-in, or may still have the driver files installed from the last time that you set up the device. If you are asked for the driver and you do not have it, you can try to download the latest driver from the hardware vendor?s Web site.

But apparently you need to install the driver for this device so what is it and where is the Install Media that came with it?
