Recognition program for helpdesks/call centers

I’m looking to design a regognition program for our helpdesk analysts. One that would be an incentive for them to perform better in their overall work.

We’re thinking about a point system, such as air miles. Once they’ve accumulated enough points, they can chose items to receive etcetera.

Just looking for any input/advice/information out there.
