We first use a digital camera to capture the screen and keyboard, then use Pinnicle Studio 8 to edit and create windows media files for play back on Windows Media player. You can also use Macromedia programs to create content and Microsoft has windows media software programs that can create content. Below is a link to the Windows Media home page. Look under technology and tools for programs in which to create content for playback on Windows Media Player.

We found Pinnacle Studio 8 to be low in cost and provides a lot of tools to edit the video such as scene clipping, voice over narration, transition creation, and final video compression with either small window or full screen. Macromedia has some supurb programs for creating content but they cost a bundle. Unless your in the business of creating content for businesses to buy, stick with the low cost programs like Pinnacle.
