Recording

Many times I receive phone calls or participate in teleconferences in which there is a lot of detail provided. I thought if I could use a recording device I could proceed a little more quickly as I wouldn?t have to have to go through the alpha numerics confirmed every time. I bought a small Olympus (WS-500M) digital recorder. I bought a cable and an adapter to tie the two together. When I plug the cable in the phone it?s looking for a hands free ear phone ? microphone so the speakerphone button never appears and you can?t hear or speak via the Centro. Is there anyway around this?
