By marcardoso ·
Hi,
How do I recover some files from my HD that were deleted? I do know they are on HD surface, but how do I get there? Thanks!

WinUndelete? is an easy to use undelete software utility to recover deleted files from hard drives, floppy disks, ZIP drives, USB external flash drives, digital camera cards and more.

WinUndelete powerful scan engine can even locate and restore deleted files that other undelete softwares could never find. WinUndelete works under MS Windows 95/98/ME NT/2000/XP/2003 and can recover data from both FAT and NTFS file systems.

Here is a ~$24 solution for you.

I've personally used this product for a number of recoveries. I think the largest set of files I recovered was close to 100GB. I like the product, as nothing really needs to be installed on the machine you are trying to recover data on. I carry this FFU with me on a USB thumbdrive - and it runs great.

Good luck - until the data is recovered, I wouldn't write or install any new files on the HD.

Chris
