I have deleted a client’s Exchange mailbox accidentally. It was not backed up to tape. There is an OST file for the mailbox. How can I convert this to a PST or at least retrieve the offline messages. Keep in mind that I had to recreate the Exchange account. The error I get when I try to get Outlook 2000 to open the ost file is: “The file … cannot be accessed because it has been configured for use with a different mailbox.” It was created with compressible encryption with no password.
Any Ideas? I need help ASAP, please email the response as well as posting.
