Working with Windows ME. Did scandisk on drive and did usual settings of fix all problems automatically. When finished did a defrag on drive. Later when I looked at files I noticed that a large amount of MP3 files (Songs) had been changed to file002, file003, file004,etc “recovered file fragments”. The files range in size from 32kbs to 800,800 kbs. Anyone have any ideas how to return these files back to normal?
