Recovering Excel Spreadsheet

Hi, An employee accidentally replaced a rather long Excel 2000 spreadsheet with a blank spreadsheet, and saved. Is there any way to recover the spreadsheet that was saved over?

Unless it was saved on a server and you had make a backup of that file, there answer is no.

You may get extremely lucky, search the HD for "~". Win 98 and below had a bad habit of not deleting the temporary files properly.
