Recovering my lost data from scsi Hard Drive

by taiwoadeyanju . Updated 17 years, 11 months ago

I have a proliant server ML350 which has 2 units SCSI hdd each is 72GB. One was loaded with Windows 200 server o/s while the other hdd was idle unallocated and unpartitioned. Hence the first hdd on id 0 contains both th e o/s and the data. However the server suddenly developed a booting prob which reports eror loading dll’s on kernel. Run Setup again and Press r to repair. All efforts to do this proved abortive for the pc always seek the faulty drive endlessly.

However, I loaded fresh OS into the second drive but not until I removed the faulty one from the pc and slotted the second drive in id 0. But after inserting the faulty drive back into the pc (id 1 now)the newly installed drive id 0 couldnt boot any longer unless I remove the second hdd.

Can any one tell me what I can do to ..
1. Boot up the server with the two hdd so I can recover my data?

or how do I recover my data from this scsi drive
