HP 864n win media center. I’ve installed a new HD, purchased recovery disk from HP. Follow all instructions for installing disk, try the ctrl/backspace, all goes well as far as installing all nine disk, than it ask to restart or shut down. I’ve tried both rstart & shutdown. It boots to the blue screen screen with hp logo as if it was going to finalize recovery, than it freezes. I’ve tried this four times, five maybe and nothing? any ideas? anyone? 🙂
