Recovery of Deleted Files.

By nicki_cullen ·
Is there a way for me to recover files deleted in Win2000 where there is no recycle bin without purchasing a software utility program?

you can search for MS-DOS 6.22 and download it. an Undelete utility is included with it. Install it onto floppy disks. I'm sure it is free.

Nicki:

DOS 6.22 does have an undelete utility. You can probably download it. Don't download the file to the computer you want to undelete the file on, though. As a matter of fact, don't even go on line with that computer.

Every web page that you go to results in a file being written to your cache, and that lessens the probability of the deleted file being able to be restored.

Good luck.
