recycle bin

Ihave a hard drive that is partitioned
wit 98SE AND WIN2000. The recycle bin has only
98SE items-nothing from 2000. i KNOW THAT IT CAN BE SETUP TO READ 2000. Any help would be appreciated.

you did not say if win 2000 is on a ntfs partition. Win 9X cannot see ntfs partitions it does not know how to read it and as for recycle bins when something is deleated the first character is replaced by a tilder ~ and this information is held in the registary so with the two operating systems not having access to each others registrys then they wont see what is in the recyclebin. as far as i am aware it calnt be done.

Try this: right click on the Recycle Bin icon. Choose ?Properties?. There is a check box there with ?Do not move files to Recycle Bin?. Try unchecking that feature.
