    Locked

Is there any work-around, Hack, third party software, etc. that will allow files deleted from a network drive to go to the recycle bin?

The new Diskeeper 5.0 from Executive Software (the makers of Diskeeper Lite) have a new product called Undelete. I believe it saves network file deletes as well as local files. I have ran the demo and it works great. I’m not sure if it’s bundled with Diskeeper or if it’s sold seperately. This will definately do what your asking. Good luck.

We are using Norton Utilities 2.0 for NT 4.0. It has an Unerase Wizard and Norton Unerase Protection service. The second one protects all network shares in the real time. Until you Empty Norton Protected Files from your Trash Bin you will be ableto retrieve them. It also keeps copies of files as they are changed or overwritten.
