Red Hat 6.0 - Ditto tape install.

I have Redhat 6.0 (kernel 2.2.5-15)and would like to install a Ditto 2Gig internal backup. It connects through the floppy. I need a detailed description or a specfic link to a site.

You can try with ftape:

Read carefully the doc and the latest README of ftape.

ftape is not a backup program as such; it is adevice driver, which allows you to use your floppy tape drive (just like the SoundBlaster 16 driver let you use your sound card) through the device files /dev/[n]qft[0-3]. "
