Our company has a Web site, www.companyA.com, being hosted by ProviderA. Our sister company has a Web site, www.companyB.com, being hosted else where by ProviderB. Due to a merger, we would like to redirect the sister company’s Web site so when people type companyB.com, they actually get companyA.com.
We had ProviderB change the MX record so our Exchange server is receiving their e-mail now. But they tell me that the only way to redirect the Web site is for us to do html coding. Is this true? They terminated the IS person doing their Web and network stuff at CompanyB, and I’m located elsewhere in the country, with no records that we’ve found so far …
