redirecting website

By singhjunk ·
WE own these domains:-
1:)www.artistsclub.com and
2:)www.artistclub.com
we do have a website at the first (1) address but I would like to automate a process so that whenever somebody types in the second(2) address and hits enter it automatically redirects them to the first(1) website.

I highly appreciate your help.

Thanks
Jasjeet Singh

How about creating an alias/static name on DNS?

Couldn't you ask your ISP to redirect for you? We have 5 domain names and our ISP redirect all to one of them.

I will look into that and hope that they can do this for us. What if its not the ISP problem any solutions then.

Thanks

I would think that the best answer would be to have whoever hosts your DNS to add a second entry so that the second domain name is pointed to the same IP address as the first.

That will take care of it.

I guess you are right. So does that mean our ISP has the solution to this.

Thanks

Here is quick fix put this code in the html source. Prefferable in the head marked by <head> and ended by </head> So put it betweeen that.

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="0;url=http://YOUR_ADDRESS_HERE">

It won't solve the problem, but it will work.
