I have a particular Exchange Problem.
I am managing exchange server and my problem is how to reduce the size of mailboxes. Actually we have moved all the data of mailboxes to PST’s and have thoroughly checked that mailboxes do not have any mails or deleted or sent items. But when we see the Mailbox Resources (under Private Information under Server) in Exchange of those mailboxes, the size of the mailboxes are same as before transferring the data to PST’s.
Now i want these mailbox resources to show and consume the actual mail storage capacity rather than showing the capacity of mails which it was earlier having.
Like a User had 230 MB of mails and other data and i moved his data to PST. So when i see in Mailbox Resources it still showsthe same figure.
I have done offline defragmentation and integrity thru eseutil but it doesn’t solve my problem.
I am looking for its remedy for almost a week, so please help me out.
