Redundant server using Win2K Server

Can anyone tell me how to setup a redundant server running side by side with another server using Windows 2000 Server, just in case one fails the other is still running reducing the risk of downtime at the same location (what is the proper term for this?). Also, does the servers have to be identical? Thanks alot in advance!
