refurbished dell computer

By DianeS62 ·
I bought a refurbished Dell computer. It originally had windows xp and was upgraded to windows vista. However the graphics are so large you have to scroll back and forth to see it is so big. I have to turn resolution up so high that it distorts pics and some writting any suggestions? Tried to download drivers updates and says graphics device unplugged

Roll back?

by david.lavie In reply to refurbished dell computer

Can you get the backup media and roll it back to XP? Maybe move on to Linux.

I have a number of Dell laptops that ran Win2000, didn't want to pay $$$ to upgrade the OS so I bought a book on Ubuntu Linux and installed that instead

Go to the DELL website and get the manual for it, also

by Deadly Ernest In reply to refurbished dell computer

check the downloads for the right graphics drivers etc for that model and Vista, that may fix it.

And next time ask this in the Questions page, not the Discussions page.

text size?

by .Martin. In reply to refurbished dell computer

is it the text size you are talking about.

if so there is an option to change that.

right click desktop, choose Personalize, then Adjust Font Size (DPI) in sidebar, then choosing default, then ok. followed by the regular restart

Refurbished Desktop Computers

Technically Refurbished Desktop Computers are not necessarily the old PC, so buying one of these machines is in no way means that you are buying an older model for you or you are stuck with the machine exceeded. Dell Computers
