Good Day, I have a issue with my PC that is driving me crazy. My BIOS is detecting my CD-ROM as well as my CD Burner but when I go into My Computer none of the devices are there. I went into device manager and I had a error code 19. I tried uninstalling both devices both still no go. Troubleshooter for Windows 2000 informed me that I might have a corrupted file in my registry. I ran Norton Utilities Disk Docter, it detected other problems with my PC but not this issue. With hours of trouble-shooting I found out that the ENUM file in H_key_Local Machine>services has been deleted, the CD ROM and CD Burner depend on this file. Can someone please assist me in resolving this issue.
