Registry Access in a non-standard way.

by vladkara . Updated 19 years, 3 months ago

Let’s say that I have a problem in windows registry (Win-XP)that prevents me from accessing windows OS. The problem is on the main HD boot drive. I take the drive out, put it in an HD enclosure and attach it to another computer as USB drive. Actually, (probably) since the drive has MBR on it the drive shows as local drive on another computer. The question is: can I now access the registry on this (now USB) drive????
I need an answer.
