I have Used

by TheChas In reply to Registry Cleaners

I have used several registry cleaners.

The least expensive one that I like is Registry First Aid from Rose City Software.

The cleaner in V-Com software's Fix-It suite is also a good choice.

Raxco Software's Perfect Disk RX Suite has a number of tools including a registry cleaner.

CCleaner is free and easy to use. You'll find it at http://www.ccleaner.com.

The one caveat that you need to know is to run it until it stops finding things. That may take a few passes. And of course, always back up the reg before cleaning. CCleaner has a prompt for this.

Good Luck!
