Any suggestions for a good registry cleaner. Is you suggestion the best product? Why? I need a good registry cleaner- but I can't afford one that makes mistakes- Do I need to buy one or are there good free ones out there. I have a lot of points so I am going to give a bunch out- This is important to me and it looks like a lot to sift through to figure which products are really good and which ones just buy ads.

It does a very good job of identifying registry problems.
The only negative I have is that you do need to be familiar with the installed software and components in order to "assist" Fix-It with the problems that have more than 1 possible fix.
For my systems, Fix-It does a better job than Norton Win Doctor.
I have not tried any of the free-ware registry cleaners.
I have seen a number of the high rated free-ware cleaners become commercial products.
The following address will give reviews and comparisons to registry cleaner software, one orr the other will have a feature that will make it standout against the others. Paying for a product will give you access to all features of the software, rather than a scale down version of a free download
If you're asking for technical help, please be sure to include all your system info, including operating system, model number, and any other specifics related to the problem. Also please exercise your best judgment when posting in the forums--revealing personal information such as your e-mail address, telephone number, and address is not recommended.
