    Registry editing via NETWORK or AD

    I have a registry entry that I need to add to a network of about 150 computers. I would like to push this entry out to each individual user when they log on.

    What do I need to set up to do this using a windows 2000 server AD?

      If you want to add a regular registry key, you aren’t changing a policy setting in Group Policy management, you would need to create a custom ADM file. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/225087 will tell you how.

      If you can code a bit, you can add a small vbscript to a GPO login script policy using WMI or the Shell object registry manipulation methods to set your registry value.
