Registry Editor Error

Just received a new Optiplex GX240 fro Dell. W2K is pre installed and all I do is configure it to allow for connection to our Domain. However on first login I receive the following error

Cannot import c:\dell\16bitfix.reg. Not all data was successfuly written to the registry. Some keys are open by the system or other processes.

Any ideas, before Dell ask me to reinstall the OS.
